ExactEmerge™ is a new and improved delivery system for planters with pinpoint population and seed spacing accuracy. The patented BrushBelt™ delivery system drops each seed precisely into the trench with little to no ‘rolling,’ enabling accuracy at any planting speed. The seed is then speed matched to the ground, which allows the seed to be gently placed at the bottom of the trench, whether you're on steep hills or flat ground.
Additionally, John Deere ExactEmerge™ has accurate singulation, population, spacing, and uniform depth with an increased speed of 10 miles per hour, as opposed to the traditional 5 miles per hour with other row units. With the ability to handle a variety of kennel shapes and sizes with no mechanical adjustments, this improved meter with a new poly-tine double eliminator gives you new levels of performance that deliver with precision. Dual Electric Motors
The ExactEmerge™ drive system is powered by two brushless, maintenance-free motors on each row unit that work independently to control the meter and the BrushBelt™, with no synchronization required. These dual motors run more efficiently and provide longer life than traditional brush motors that generate friction and heat buildup.
BrushBelt™ Delivery System
The patented technology of the BrushBelt™ delivery system gives users precise seed placement with no bounce and no roll in the trench, whether you have corn or high-rate soybeans. It gently cradles the seeds, even in rough planting conditions, and delivers each seed to the bottom of the trench. The BrushBelt™ also features a self-cleaning conditioner at the bottom of the delivery system, so you don’t need to worry about any dust entering the trench.
Seed Sensor
The technology of the seed sensor within the BrushBelt™ provides every detail of information for each seed that travels through the system to delivery. From population, seed spacing, and seed singulation, it is all gathered and then delivered to the SeedStar™ 4HP monitoring system.
Tractor Power Generation
With tractor power generation, you’ll never need batteries on your planter. And not only that, the system is more efficient than before and doesn't require hydraulics. Without the need for hydraulics, you can help eliminate the hydraulic need on the planter by allowing PTO to generate planter power.
Power Generation System
This exclusive 56-volt system produces the most voltage in the industry, significantly reducing the amps needed per row compared to lower voltage systems.
Improved Shank

Downforce Options
The ExactEmerge™ offers two different downforce options, Active Pneumatic Downforce and Individual Row Hydraulic Downforce. With Active Pneumatic Downforce, you can ensure that every row unit maintains its necessary ground contact, at 10 miles per hour, to achieve a uniform depth. With Individual Row Hydraulic Downforce you can witness a hundred-pound change in downforce in just under a second, on a row-by-row basis to ensure you get the depth necessary for your specific soil conditions.
Rigid Concave Seed Bowl
The rigid concave seed bowl singulates the increased seeds-per-second at higher speeds, allowing each seed hole to have a smooth and efficient handoff to the BrushBelt™, without the need for any secondary features.
High-Performance Vacuum Meter
This high-performance vacuum meter allows you to use a variety of seed shapes and sizes, all at the same time, without the need to make any mechanical adjustments. In addition, the vacuum meter maintains its target population even over terrain with slopes up to 15 degrees, giving you the flexibility necessary for efficient planting.
Mini-Hopper Design
The straight inlet design of the CCS hose into the mini-hopper replaces the elbow-style setup, which helps to prevent the potential plugging of seeds.
Polytine Double Eliminator
This upgraded double eliminator needs no fine-tuning for improved convenience and handles higher planting speeds than traditional planters. Its precise singulation is gained as the tines sweep away extra seeds from the BrushBelt™.
Row Unit Controller
The improved row unit controller quickly calculates how fast the electric motors need to turn and captures data from the sensors including the seed, ride quality, downforce, and row vacuum on the respective rows. The information gathered is then sent from each unit controller to the Meter Master Controller.
