The William Grove Historical Steam Engine Association held its annual summer show to celebrate the area's rich agricultural history and to please the crowd with a tractor parade featuring vintage John Deere equipment.
A crowd of onlookers from around Monroe Township showed up for the annual event, as the visitors waited in line to watch a row of tractors parade through the streets of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, according to Penn Live.
Robert Mansberger, a resident of York and an annual attendee of the event, rode his used John Deere tractor to the event in anticipation for the parade. He has been going to the summer show for years and always brings his own vehicle that he constantly maintains.
"It had some nicks and scratches on it," Mansberger told the news source. "I repainted it. I just made some modifications to make it fit."
The William Grove Historical Steam Engine Association has been hosting the annual summer show for more than 50 years, as a band, local food and childrens events take place at the grounds along with the tractor parade, according to the organization's website.
