The summer job market may not be that great, meaning that college students might have a harder time raising the funds they need to pay for school.

However, those in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area who are willing to steer a used tractor may find some relief. According to WBTV, Ryan Pearce and two of his friends started a lawn care company that only employs college students. College Kids Working takes care of lawns in and around the city.

"It's a company where kids can earn their own paycheck to either pay for school or pay the bills," the station said.

This summer's job market is expected to be about the same as last year, according to a recent survey from CareerBuilder.com. Furthermore, unemployed adults looking for work may add competition to the market.

The unemployment rate dropped to 9.7 percent in May after rising 0.2 percentage points in April. However, the decline in the number of jobless people was mostly made up of temporary work offered by this year's collection of the census.ADNFCR-2034-ID-19836138-ADNFCR
