This weekend starts early in a Southeast Texas city, thanks to a John Deere dealership.
Tractor City in Kenedy is hosting an opportunity to test drive tractors on Friday afternoon, according to a published report. And, after the weekend sets in, the tractor driving components of the Drive Green Challenge also will be in operation on Saturday morning. Attendees such as farmers and ranchers can capitalize on the opportunity to test drive John Deere 4WD tractors and ask questions of Deere officials about John Deere commercial mowers and other equipment.
"The Drive Green Challenge events are designed to give people a one-stop opportunity to check out and operate different brands of tractors and a variety of other John Deere equipment they might be interested in," Tractor City general manager Johnny Wright said.
Numerous Deere dealerships throughout the nation are hosting Drive Green Challenges. Fun-hunters can live large thanks to large video screens, a barbecue grill and numerous additional attractions.
"It's a convenient way to compare features of different equipment and get the latest information on attachments, maintenance and other aspects of equipment ownership," Wright said.
