People who have experience with used tractors may feel that having a can of lubricant around can make maintenance easier.
Now, they can also be a bit stylish in the product they choose given a limited-time offer from the WD-40 Company. The manufacturer is releasing a special 1950s-style can in conjunction with a newer model that features a fixed aiming straw.
"While the Smart Straw represents the latest in WD-40 innovation, the collector's can represents a rich heritage and America's love affair with the WD-40 brand," Tim Lesmeister, vice president of marketing for the company, said.
The company also announced it's relaunching its fan club, and a web site will give people the chance to share their stories related to WD-40.
Along with making sure a used tractor is rust-free, there are a number of other things people can do to make sure their machines run properly. Those include keeping air filters clean and replacing sparkplugs at the beginning of the mowing season.
Furthermore, keeping blades sharp can improve a used tractor's performance while keeping lawns healthier.
