Residents of Spartanburg, South Carolina, showed up in large numbers to the annual Christmas parade, as visitors were treated to a variety of floats led by local sports teams and town employee organizations, according to GoUpstate.com.
The news source reported that the large number of entrants into the parade were dwarfed by several well-constructed floats.
One of these eye-catching rides was the Boiling Springs Youth Athletic Association float, which featured a mini-football field complete with goal posts, field lines and several other authentic pieces. The size of the decorative ride was large enough to require the use of a used John Deere tractor that helped to pull it forward through the town, according to GoUpstate.com.
Several residents noted that the floats and the weather were enough to satisfy any crowd.
"This was the perfect night for the parade," a mother of three told the news source. "You couldn't not come."
The Spartanburg Christmas parade is held every year and the number of floats that are entered into the procession has grown rapidly, according to the parade website.
