The South Carolina Agricultural Council is hosting its Spring Agricultural Tour on April 24, as the organization is looking to take guests to see the John Deere Plant near Grovetown, Georgia, The Orangeburg Times and Democrat reported.
According to the news source, the daylong event will allow visitors to see the Plant and the variety of John Deere equipment and products that are made at the site.
After this tour, the guests will be taken to Titan Farms, as they will be able to see the people who have used John Deere equipment for their harvest and how they use farm tools to enhance their yields and maximize efficiency, according to the Times and Democrat.
The South Carolina Agricultural Council is presenting the tour as a way to see the various parts of the agricultural industry and the connection between the sectors that make the food that Americans eat.
According to the organization's website, the South Carolina Agricultural Council also hosts events regarding agribusiness strategies, and provides resources to local farmers and interested citizens about the industry.
