A UK farming exhibition slated for early next year will feature a newly improved signature tractor of the John Deere line, according to published reports.
Thus far more than 100 of the 5430i self-propelled sprayer are in use in the United Kingdom and Ireland while the LAMMA '11 show ensues in January. One of the flagships of the Deere fleet, whose strongest attributes are the high levels of spray performance and its productivity, the sprayer features a 36 meter boom.
The 5430i, which is manufactured at Deere's European sprayer factory in the Netherlands, is enhanced with suspension for a booming spray and control of the rate of application.
Thanks to the unique control system, the sprayer's accuracy is improved, which is a valuable tool to prevent under-application. The new sprayer also has an improved system that ensures spray coverage is more evenly distributed.
The boom center frame and suspension are newly designed and capitalize on an updated geometric system for cylinders that fold. New software capitalizes on the improved suspension by ensuring the minimum height will be maintained consistently when in use.
