Paulding Ohio Ag Focus Day Showcases Deere Equipment; Draws More than 500 Visitors
According to a recent Farmers’ Advance article, John Deere equipment sprawled across a hundred acres during the Kenn-Feld Group’s Ag Focus Day in Paulding, Ohio, drawing more than 500 visitors interested in learning more about agriculture and equipment.
Field demonstrations occurred every hour, featuring the newest Tillage Tools, Nutrient Application Equipment, John Deere Guidance Systems, and more. New to the event this year were clinics on the 6R-9R Tractors, Tillage Tools, Sprayers, Planters and Combines. Each of these pieces of equipment was put through the paces, allowing attendees to see the equipment perform in real-life conditions, according to Farmers’ Advance.
David Bleke of the Kenn-Feld Group, said about the day’s success, "The attendees enjoyed seeing the new technologies offered by John Deere AMS Products and more specifically our demonstration of technology linking the combine to the tractor and grain cart so the tractor automatically follows the combine's speed and steering in the field while unloading the grain from the combine."
In addition to learning about agricultural equipment, Ohio State University Extension Educator Jim Horman presented two agriculture related seminars at the event. The morning session was titled “Recapturing Your Nutrients” and the afternoon covered “Creating More Carbon in Your Soil.”
The Kenn-Feld Group’s Ag Focus Day drew a fairly large crowd to Paulding, Ohio, as agricultural producers and enthusiasts were given an opportunity to see equipment and action, with an opportunity to learn in agriculture related seminars.
