Fair attendees are gearing up for next month's Wellington Vintage Fair and Swap Meet, during which the Tractor Pull will feature John Deere machinery, according to a published report.
The Wellington Times reports the fair in the capital of New Zealand typically draws large amounts of people, and organizers expect this year's to be no different.
"Every kind of tractor will be there for the pull. It will be big," according to John Edwards, fair organizer. He is also a plant superintendant so fair organizing is a task he takes on with pleasure. "We have had interest from Australia wide for this and there will also be a mini tractor pull. I'm predicting a big roll up for this."
And if anyone is disappointed with the Tractor Pull, they only need be patient for another wildly popular event. Organizers are saying the street parade will be the biggest and the best parade yet.
"This event draws up to 10,000 people so the streets of Wellington will be packed on the day of the parade and one of the old favorites (the) steam engines are back," Edwards said.
