This year, the MN Ag Expo is slated to take place between January 27 and January 28 at the Verizon Wireless Center in Mankato, Minn. Individuals will be able to attend the event for free and network with 100 different exhibitors. Additionally, a series of educational lectures focused on Minnesota farming issues will be held throughout the event.
“If you haven’t been to EXPO before, this is the year to check it out,” said Noah Hultgren, president of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association. “We’ve maintained all of the things that make EXPO great and added a few new items to the agenda to make it an even better event.”
Former National Corn Growers President Pam Johnson and David Carnes, founder and CEO of ArcStone, are slated to take part in a panel discussion addressing agriculture. Breakout sessions with hone in on Minnesota’s new buffer strip law, crop weather post-El Nino, and succession planning.
The Soybean Growers group will be on hand to host the “Beano and Vino” fundraiser on the evening of Jan. 27, and a live auction is slated for Jan. 28. The money raised at these events will go toward promoting a positive image for Minnesota agriculture.
