At the annual Bay City, Michigan St. Patrick's Day Parade, residents enjoyed several floats and other displays with the help of John Deere tractors, Michigan Live reports.
According to the new source, The Bay County Farm Bureau entered a float in the parade, which was decorated to look like a barnyard and was adorned with toy farm machinery. The float's design was headed by Alex VanDenBoom, who arranged for the float to be pulled by a John Deere tractor, which was provided by his father.
"It’s a good time," VanDenBoom said of the parade. "When we get better weather we get a better crowd."
The parade also had caravans of vintage and antique cars, one of which carried Miss Saginaw County Brenna O'Malley, who is set to compete in the upcoming Miss Michigan pageant.
Across the country, participants in St. Patrick's day parades used John Deere tractors to pull decorated floats. According to the Great Falls Tribune, most of the tractors pulled in the Great Falls parade were John Deere machines, with their color fitting for such an occasion.
