A tractor show in Wisconsin demonstrated the true power of the machines, as the many vehicles that participated gave the visitors a glance into the world of agriculture, according to the Northwestern.
The Winnebago County Fair held the farm tractor pull event, as Wisconsin residents flooded the area to witness one of the fan favorites for the local congregation of agricultural activity, reported the news source.
Tractors pulled a weighted sled on a circular dirt track at the grandstand of the fair, as onlookers witnessed a true display of power between the many classes of vehicles. The various categories of farm machinery ranged in weight from 6,500 pounds to more than 20,000 pounds, Northwestern reported.
John Deere tractors won first place in several categories, including the 8,500 pound, 10,500 pound and 17,000 pound events. A majority of the individuals who participated were using this brand of farm equipment, according to the news source.
The Winnebago County Fair also features local food, musical performances, a rodeo and many amusement rides, reported the County Fair website.
