This year, John Deere has announced that it will be participating at the Iowa Power Farming Show. The event is taking place between January 29-31 in Des Moines, Iowa; nearly 75 new companies will be participating in this year's show. The Iowa Power Farming Show is spread across eight acres and is the third largest indoor U.S. farm show in the country.

“The Iowa Power Farming Show is an agricultural megastore,” said Tom Junge, show director. “With 740 companies on hand representing 58 product and service categories, farmers and ranchers will find everything they need to increase profits, lower input costs and improve productivity.”

One of the highlights of the event includes the Ag Innovative Pitch Competition, which involves six ag tech startups pitching their latest ideas to help producers manage their operations more effectively. The winner walks away with a $20,000 grand prize.

Some of the areas of focus that Deere and other exhibitors will be honing in on include tillage, planting, hay and forage, and seed handling. Livestock equipment, precision ag electronics, and grain handling equipment will also be topics of discussion throughout the show.

Next week, John Deere will be at booth #2038. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the show will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On the final day of the event, the hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $8 per person with a $5 discount available at iowapowershow.com. There is also a free shuttle operating at the event, and parking is free of charge.
