John Deere is scheduled to showcase its latest products, ranging from tillage equipment to tractors, at the upcoming Sunbelt Ag Expo at Spence Field in Moultrie, Georgia.
The Sunbelt Ag Expo is hosted on a 100-acre exhibit area next to a 600-acre working research farm. At the exhibit area, visitors have an opportunity to see both indoor and outdoor demonstrations from participants, including John Deere. Educational seminars are also hosted throughout the event, and a tram can be taken into the fields to see how cotton, peanuts, corn, soybeans, and hay are harvested.
Representatives from companies are on hand throughout the Sunbelt Ag Expo to answer visitors’ questions. Harvesting demonstrations, tillage demonstrations, equipment driving ranges, and irrigation technology are just some of what attendees will see when they attend this year’s event.
The 2017 Sunbelt Ag Expo will take place between October 17 and 19. On Tuesday, attendees will be able to visit between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Show hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets cost $10 for general admission.
John Deere will be exhibiting its equipment in outside exhibit lots A-1 and A-2. Some of the products that will be on display include ATVs, construction machinery, sprayers, and tractors.
The Sunbelt Ag Expo bills itself as “North America’s Premier Farm Show.” It originated from the Ag Engineering Technology Club’s Dealer Days back in 1964.
