The Consumer Technology Association recently awarded John Deere its fifth consecutive CES® Innovation Award for the John Deere Operations Center™ Sustainability Tools.
A 2024 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Sustainability, Eco-Design & Smart Energy category, John Deere’s latest sustainability innovations enable farmers to tap into comprehensive farm operations data to progress toward sustainability goals every day.
The Operations Center™ is a cloud-based platform that consolidates data collected from fields, machines, and operators to provide personalized insights so farmers can make sustainable decisions while capitalizing on available opportunities.
New this year, the Sustainability Tools functions give farmers greater visibility into their soil health, carbon intensity, fuel emissions, and other sustainability-focused features. Farmers can also participate in revenue-generating programs and share sustainability insights directly with trusted advisors through the platform.
“Arable land is not an unlimited resource, and these new tools give farmers the ability to make informed decisions that not only benefit themselves but the next generation of farmers and the world that relies upon them,” said Jahmy Hindman, chief technology officer for John Deere.
In addition to the suite of sustainability solutions, the John Deere Operations Center™ features field and equipment management capabilities to improve efficiency and yield. Using integrated data to generate a complete view of farm operations, the platform makes it easier for farmers to plan field work, monitor progress, and analyze productivity and performance.
