A specific model of a John Deere tractor was recently acknowledged as the second most fuel-efficient tractor of the decade, as Farm Industry News reported that a model 8320R Tractor from the agricultural giant was efficient in using technology to limit fuel consumption.
According to the news source, the John Deere 8320R Tractor was named second-most efficient in a countdown of the top 40 most effective tractors when it comes to fuel consumption and limiting the amount of energy needed to power the machine.
The John Deere 8320R Tractor was dubbed the "Fuel King" by the lab that tested the farm equipment. Its PTO test at rated engine speed is 18.93 and it boasts 274 horsepower, Farm Industry News reported.
The Nebraska Tractor Test Laboratory was the organization that was used to evaluate the performance of the models, as the site examines tractors in several different ways in order to determine the winner, according to the lab's website.
