Downtown Brooklyn, Michigan, will once again host its annual celebration of dogs and warm weather with a parade that features both residents and a variety of events and activities that visitors can participate in, according to the Jackson Citizen Patriot.
The celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature a headline-worthy dog parade at noon. With an old water tower as the backdrop, area residents will bring their pets in a variety of costumes and outfits, the news source reported.

The event will culminate with an All Sports Spectacular dinner and fundraising event, held at Michigan International Speedway's Champion Club, according to the Patriot.
A raffle will be held at the event, and the winner will be given a brand new John Deere Gator, as the Brooklyn Downtown Development Authority hosts have provided the gift, reported the news source.
