RDO Equipment has announced that it will be hosting an event at the Umatilla County Fair in Oregon between August 11 and 15 to give attendees an opportunity to test John Deere equipment.
The “Drive Green” event will allow individuals to try out attachments and speak to product experts. The theme of “Dare to Compare!” has also been created to encourage the comparison of John Deere equipment to other machines on the market.
Attendees can enter to win a John Deere 3032E Compact Utility Tractor with D160 Loader and Frontier RC2060 Rotary Cutter at the event. The first 50 adults who register at the booth will receive a $500 discount coupon, which can be used on John Deere equipment.
“The best thing about this event is that we give folks the opportunity to actually operate the equipment and see how easily it is to change out attachments on the machine,” Dennis Moffit, regional sales manager at RDO Equipment, told the Hermiston Herald. “It’s a great chance for them to get hands‐on experience with the equipment before they take it home, and equips them for success.”
The Umatilla County Fair will open at 9 a.m. daily throughout the duration of the event. It is being held in Hermiston, Ore., and adults will be able to attend for $10.
The fair was originally known as the Hermiston Dairy and Hog Show, and it has been a tradition since 1912.
