John Deere recently celebrated 25 years of manufacturing the ZTrak™ commercial zero-turn mower lineup at the 2021 GIE+EXPO. The company initially launched the F620 and F680 zero-turn mowers in 1997 and continues to improve upon its offerings of commercial landscaping equipment to this day.
"Ever since the first ZTrak zero-turn mower, Deere has kept the pedal down in terms of product improvements. For us, there's always an improved model or attachment around the corner," said Nick Minas, go-to-market manager, John Deere. "This anniversary celebrates 25 years of providing value and innovative products to our customers. We are excited to continue developing and designing the most effective equipment solutions for years to come."
Some of the enhancements Deere has made to its commercial mowing lineup include the Fastback™ PRO Rear-Discharge Mower Deck, which increases productivity and operator comfort, and the ShadePro canopy. The NEVERSTOP™ Services and Support program is also available for customers who want to ensure they're never without the parts their machine needs.
"In looking back at the last 25 years, we've come to realize how the zero-turns truly changed the commercial mowing business as a whole," said Richard Miller, corporate sales manager for commercial and retail segments at TriGreen Equipment, as he reflected on Deere's milestone. "From additions, like rollover protection devices, to the innovative Michelin® X® TWEEL® TURF airless radial tires, we've seen great advancements since the mid-'90s, and John Deere has always been at the forefront."
