John Deere has recently announced a master supply agreement with Mobile Track Solutions, LLC., an Iowa-based equipment manufacturer specializing in creating towed scrapers. Through this agreement, Mobile Track Solutions will provide Deere with greater than 27 cubic yard capacity towed scrapers for distribution via the John Deere construction and agriculture dealer networks.
"The trend for a single large-capacity scraper pulled by either an articulated dump truck or large tractor continues to grow as an earthmoving solution for many contractors," said Jason Daly, global director, production systems, technology, marketing, John Deere Construction & Forestry. "Combining the advanced features of the proven John Deere 460E-II ADT or 9R Series Scraper Tractor, along with the quality and durability of the new John Deere scraper, will provide a powerful solution for customers."
With the addition of the greater than 27 cubic yard scraper solution, Deere will be able to increase its efficiency in large-capacity earthmoving applications. John Deere large capacity scrapers will also be available with updated technology features, such as automation, to cater to customer needs.
When it initially debuted in 2020, the John Deere earthmoving productivity system was designed to help operators measure volume in their scrapers in real-time. In these new machines, the system will be available through an in-cab monitor and offboard in the JDLink™ dashboard for the utmost convenience.
To start, the John Deere scrapers will be distributed through construction and agriculture equipment dealers in the U.S. and Canada. Sales will begin at a later date. To learn more, visit www.JohnDeere.com.
