John Deere is rolling out the new 800R Floater for model year 2022 to help producers cover more acres per day with less fatigue. This piece of equipment will replace previous John Deere High-Capacity Nutrient Applicators while supporting air boom and improving serviceability. The new dry spinner-spreader options, along with a common hydraulic implement pump, allow for faster attachment changeovers.
"The 800R delivers best-in-class ride quality and operator comfort," said Franklin Peitz, John Deere's Product Marketing Manager. "In the field, an 800R can be driven up to 25 mph (40.23 kmh) when utilizing John Deere AutoTrac™ guidance, making it the most productive high-capacity nutrient application system available."
The John Deere 800R comes with integrated precision-ag solutions and a factory-installed Generation 4 display, as well as a 4G JDLink™ MTG (modem). JDLink allows owners to stream their machine and field data to the John Deere Operations Center. Producers can keep a close eye on their equipment and logistics in real-time.
The John Deere DS35 Dry Spinner Spreader options include the NL 4500G4 Edge, NL5000G5, and N4500G4 HP Lime, all of which give operators control over how and where their product is spread while out in the field.
Finally, the new common hydraulic pumps of the John Deere 800R also decrease the changeover time required to toggle between wet and dry systems, ultimately boosting productivity.
