According to the Michigan's Petoskey News-Review, around 300 tractors will take part in a parade that will start in downtown Mackinaw City, Michigan, and will continue on to the bridge. A number of other tractors will join them there in order to make the crossing, which is also known as the Owosso Tractor Parts Antique Tractor Mackinac Bridge Crossing.
Chum Ostwald, a Levering, Michigan, resident will be the grand marshal of the event, which will feature antique farm equipment. In all, around 900 tractors will take part in the event.
"In this parade, beside myself, my son is going to be in it, my grandson and my son-in-law," Ostwald told the paper. "So we're well represented."
The tractors will be displayed through September 20 at Kewadin Casino, which is located in St. Ignace, Michigan.
Recently, a nearby state also saw a tractor parade. In Ohio, the Sandusky County Fair featured a parade that showcased antique farm equipment, which made a 15-mile run to White Star Park in Gibsonburg.
