John Deere continues to add to its tillage equipment portfolio, which aims to help farmers maximize productivity.

John Deere recently unveiled its latest innovation in tillage equipment, the Minimum Tillage (MT) Series In-Line Ripper and the Coulter Chisel (CC) Series. The offerings in this series mark a significant expansion of Deere's tillage portfolio, providing farmers with advanced tools designed to enhance productivity and efficiency in the field.

The new tillage tools will be showcased at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, from August 27-29.

Innovative Tillage Solutions With the CC Series

The Coulter Chisel (CC) Series represents John Deere's first entry into the coulter chisel market. This new series is designed to address primary tillage needs with impressive efficiency. Featuring working speeds of up to 7 mph, the CC Series is engineered to reduce compaction, manage residue, and deliver optimal soil penetration. Available in five models, ranging from 11 to 25 standards with 15-inch spacing, the series offers flexibility to suit diverse soil conditions and crop residue types.

The CC Series also includes the TruSet™ Active technology, which allows in-cab adjustments for depth control on the go, maximizing operational efficiency. This speeds up the tillage process and reduces input costs, making it a highly productive choice for modern farmers.

Enhanced Durability With the Deere MT Series

The new Deere MT Series In-Line Ripper is designed to manage soil compaction while minimizing soil disturbance, making it an essential tool for farmers committed to sustainable agriculture practices. The MT Series offers configurations with 5, 7, 9, or 11 standards, reaching tillage depths of 12 to 16 inches, ensuring effective soil conditioning.

One of the standout features of the MT Series is the CADEN Edge wear coating, which increases the longevity of critical components by up to 50%. This extended wear life reduces the need for frequent part replacements, allowing farmers to maintain productivity throughout the season with minimal downtime.

Precision Agriculture and Autonomy Ready

Both the CC Series and MT Series are designed to integrate seamlessly with precision agriculture technologies. The inclusion of TruSet Active and JDLink connection capabilities ensures that farmers can make real-time adjustments and document their tillage work directly from the cab, enhancing precision and operational efficiency.

Additionally, the CC Series comes autonomy-ready, equipped with a receiver mast, harnessing, and lighting package, making it a viable option for those looking to integrate autonomous solutions into their operations. The future-proof design aligns with John Deere's commitment to driving innovation in farming practices.

Advancing Agriculture With the New MT and CC Series

John Deere's launch of the new MT Series In-Line Ripper and Coulter Chisel Series is a testament to the company's dedication to providing advanced, efficient, and sustainable solutions for modern agriculture. With these new tools, farmers can achieve higher productivity and efficiency, while reducing input costs and embracing the future of autonomous farming.
