John Deere recently held its 7th annual Develop with Deere Conference, bringing together industry professionals interested in learning more about the latest agricultural solutions. More than 700 Deere dealers, software companies, and ag service providers from 13 countries flocked to St. Louis for the conference, which was dedicated to connecting people, equipment, and technology.
"We had a record 123 companies attend with more than 40 demonstrations and on-boarding sessions, which helps attending dealers, ag service providers and others see how these applications could work for their customers," said Kayla Reynolds, digital business development manager for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group.
Educational and network sessions were also held throughout the conference to help attendees bond and learn more about new agricultural technology. The conference took place over three days, and addressed all of the latest best practices agricultural professionals need to deploy new technology on their farms.
"The most effective way we've found to stimulate new ideas is to bring connected software companies, our dealers, ag service providers and trusted advisors together and explore new ways to collaborate and share information that will hopefully result in new digital tools that help farmers farm even better," Reynolds continued.
The conference featured guest speakers as well as a Solutions Expo that facilitated evening networking and product demonstrations by participating connected software companies.
