RSC Equipment Rental, a provider of construction equipment and rental services for the construction and oil industries, announced an equipment management workshop later this month.
The company said it will lead the workshop at the 2009 National Petrochemical Refiners Association Reliability and Maintenance Conference, on Thursday, May 21 at 10 a.m. at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center.
RSC said it will demonstrate its proprietary web-based equipment management system, which allows industrial and construction customers to manage rented and owned equipment to minimize cost and drive efficiency.
The product is currently used by more than 100 Fortune 500 companies in the petrochemical, chemical and manufacturing industries, RSC said.
The National Petrochemical & Refiners Association (NPRA) - the oldest trade association to serve the oil industry - will host over 1,800 attendees and exhibitors from 40 U.S. petrochemical plants as well as plants in 13 countries at the conference.
RSC Equipment Rental, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, owns one of the largest original equipment rental fleets in the U.S., worth $2.6 billion, the company said.
