Antique John Deere Tractors To Be Revealed at QCA Heritage Tractor Event

The 2014 QCA Heritage Tractor Parade and Show will give tractor collectors and enthusiasts an opportunity to show off their antique John Deere tractors.

This event will take place on September 6, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be located at the John Deere Pavilion on 1400 River Drive in Moline, IL. Participation in the parade and show is free.

Owners of a 1970 or older tractor are welcomed to display their machinery for all who attend. Participants and spectators will have a chance to admire John Deere tractors and other brands, celebrate the heritage of farming and network with other collectors and enthusiasts.

When describing the event in prior years, Kristen Veto, assistant manager of the John Deere Pavilion said, “East West Riverfest is a 10-day celebration of the arts, culture and heritage of the Quad Cities and we want to celebrate our heritage by inviting our fans and other tractor enthusiasts to show off their pride and joy during this tractor parade and show.”

As part of the East West Riverfest, this event is included in the lineup of a two-week celebration of the arts, culture and heritage of the Quad Cities. More than 300 events and activities will be featured throughout the Quad Cities from September 5 - 21, 2014. This will involve plays, concerts, festivals, workshops, special performances, exhibits and much more.
