The high level of innovation that is present in the agricultural industry has led to higher yields and increased productivity for American farmers, as people who have used John Deere equipment have benefited from new technology installed in the machinery.
CropLife reported that John Deere is touting improved in-cab displays with the GreenStar3 (GS3) 2630 Display. This technology is supplemented by other innovative products such as the Remote Display Access and Machine Sync updates.
According to the news source, the Machine Sync option allows for machine-to-machine communication, which helps to automate even the most challenging harvest functions. The Remote Display Access also allows a farmer to save time and increase productivity from afar.
"Remote Display Access is a proficient tool and is a direct result of listening to what our customers’ needs are and making it happen," David Mulder, product manager for John Deere Ag Management Solutions (AMS), told CropLife. "Besides saving a drive out to the field, a grower or a John Deere dealer is able to remotely assist an operator immediately with setup or troubleshooting, saving time and fuel during the entire growing season."
The company's website noted that since customers wanted an easy information-transfer system with a USB stick, John Deere included this function in the 2630 Display.
