Farm Aid recently announced additions to its lineup for this year at its concert that will be held in Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Along with mainstays like Willie Nelson and Neil Young, Kenny Chesney, Norah Jones and Wilco's Jeff Tweedy will take the stage on Saturday, October 2. This year marks the 25th time the concert is being held.
"Farm Aid's HOMEGROWN Village will showcase hands-on activities that give concertgoers a chance to meet farmers, get their hands dirty and learn how family farmers are protecting our land and water and connecting us to our roots," a release from the organization said.
The group has worked for years to help support programs that assist families that use farm equipment to make a living. Farm Aid has helped raise more than $37 million since 1985.
Other acts that will perform this year include John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews - both of whom are board members in the organization - along with Jason Mraz, the BoDeans, Amos Lee and Robert Francis.
Last year's Farm Aid show took place outside of St. Louis Missouri, and featured foods that were grown locally.
