The 2015 Power Show Ohio was recently held at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, where thousands of attendees were surrounded by construction, agricultural and outdoor power equipment for the event’s 45th annual celebration.
This year’s show featured a new layout of the exhibitor area and created a fresh look at the latest power equipment innovations at Ohio's largest indoor equipment show. The new floor plan encompassed 212,000 square feet, while utilizing the Bricker Building and Celeste Center.
In addition to a new layout and comprehensive equipment floor, the show incorporated several agricultural and construction based seminars to help farmers and producers make better business decisions. Learning topics included using cover crops to improve soil health, grain marketing, pipeline development, landowner liability and more.
Dennis Alford, the show’s lead organizer, predicted that the show would attract up to 20,000 visitors prior to weekend, bringing together three key segments of the power equipment industry: agriculture, construction and outdoor power equipment.
According to event coverage provided by The Columbus Dispatch, heavy-equipment retailers that participated in this year’s event are experiencing some positive trends in the machinery industry, mainly due to the resurgence of construction equipment sales.
Overall, The Power Show Ohio had a successful turnout, showcasing over 500 brands of equipment including tractors, skid steer loaders, commercial mowing equipment, all terrain vehicles, grain handling, fencing, hay equipment, buildings, backhoes, firewood equipment, compact tractors, livestock equipment and more.
