For the 37th year, the Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition is set to entertain visitors with three days of action at Spence Field in Moultrie, Ga., October 14-16, headlined by the unveiling of new technology in agriculture and rural living.
Known as “North America’s Premier Farm Show” with a 2014 theme of “Georgia Agriculture, Always in Season,” the event will play host to more than 1,200 exhibitors, including John Deere, that will display and demonstrate their latest products to thousands of visitors.
Chip Blalock, Show Director, says on the event’s website, “The Sunbelt Expo is an unbelievable showcase of rural living blanketed with agriculture’s newest ideas and technologies. Its 3-days of fun, education and dreaming about agriculture’s future as we team together to feed, clothe and house a growing population around the world.”
The Sunbelt Ag Expo aims to bring together all segments of rural living from research and education to the live farm harvest and agribusiness. The event boasts a 600 acre research farm that plays host to field demonstrations where attendees will have an opportunity watch various forms of agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, peanut pickers, cotton pickers, hay equipment and GPS technology working side by side.
In addition to the field demonstrations, attendees can attend any number of more than 300 seminars which are taught at exhibits on beef, dairy, backyard gardening, poultry, forestry, pond management, equine, and dairy and cattle management.
