The 2014 Ozark Fall Farmfest will take place on October 3, 4, and 5th, bringing together agriculture fans from around the country to view a variety of farm items and the latest agriculture technology at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in southwest Missouri.
The festival is open each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be showcasing livestock equipment, tractors and trailers, balers and much more. There will be both indoor and outdoor exhibits, including a number of livestock exhibitions in the barns.
Lance Markley, Farm Talk Newspaper advertising manager, says “This will be the 35th year for the Ozark Fall Farmfest. Once again, we will have 800 booths and over 500 head of registered livestock on display.” He added, “The show has sold out quicker than any time in the past, which is a testimonial to the quality of Farmfest.”
Stockmen and women will have the opportunity to see livestock exhibits, view the many different kinds of available breeding stock and learn more about the animals from the producers themselves. Live animal displays will also be present at the event, including cattle, horses, goats, sheep, hogs, miniature donkeys, alpacas and rabbits.
Farmfest will feature rural living displays that will demonstrate the use of a host of products designed to enhance the rural lifestyle. Animal health products, cattle, tractors and trailers, chutes, gates and panels, livestock waterers, feed, fencing, forage equipment and so much more will be included in the Ozark Fall Farmfest.
The 2014 Ozark Fall Farmfest will take place at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds and Events Center, located at 3001 N. Grant Ave in Springfield, Missouri. Parking and admission at the event are free.
Brittany Gillig, Ozark Empire Fair agricultural director, encourages people who have never been to the show to come out and see what exhibitors have to offer, as the festival provides an opportunity to experience a variety of farm items and the latest agriculture technology.
