John Deere Unveils New 850 X-Tier Dozer and P-Tier Upgrades for Enhanced Jobsite Performance

John Deere recently announced the launch of the 850 X-Tier Dozer along with upgrades to the 700, 750, and 850 P-Tier Dozers. These advancements are designed to boost power, improve precision, and streamline operations for maximum performance on the ground.

All-New 850 X-Tier Dozer Delivers Electric-Driven Power

The 850 X-Tier Dozer introduces dual path electric drive technology that simplifies the drivetrain and optimizes torque delivery. This innovation improves efficiency and minimizes machine complexity, making it easier to maintain and operate.

John Deere is backing its latest dozer with extended coverage through the Electric Drive Component Assurance program, which offers 84 months or 15,000 hours of protection on critical E-Drive components for qualifying units purchased between March 2025 and December 2026.

In addition to power and performance, the 850 X-Tier puts operator experience front and center. The dozer features a redesigned cab with 14% more glass area, refined controls, and an Advanced Vision System for improved visibility and safety. A tilting cab enables quicker access to internal components, supporting faster maintenance and reduced downtime. 

P-Tier Dozers Receive Tech-Forward Enhancements

John Deere also rolled out performance upgrades for its 700, 750, and 850 P-Tier Dozers. The machines now come equipped with advanced SmartGrade™ technology, including features like EZGrade, 2D grade control readiness, and 3D SmartGrade functionality. These tools give operators precise control over grading, helping them tackle tough terrain with ease.

New touchscreen displays provide a more intuitive user experience, while plug-and-play compatibility for laser and total station systems opens the door to more complex jobsite needs. Auto-load and carry functions adjust blade settings in real time, reducing operator input and improving efficiency.

Comfort has also been upgraded across the board. Heated and ventilated seating options, improved climate control, and expanded cab storage help operators stay comfortable and focused throughout the day.
