John Deere among Exhibitors Showcasing Technology at Sunbelt Ag Expo
John Deere is among 1,200 exhibitors showcasing their latest farming technology at the 2013 Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia, giving farmers an inside look at the most recent innovations that could impact the industry.
The event, known as “North America’s Premier Farm Show,” is spread across a 100-acre exhibit area adjoining a 600-acre working research farm, which include indoor and outdoor exhibits showcasing new farming products. At this year’s event, Deere has showcased several of their new 2014 products, including the W235 Windrower, 7R Series Tractors, S-Series Combines, and more.
Michael Chafin, Sunbelt Ag Expo farm manager, says in a Southeast Farm Press article, “It’s amazing how agricultural equipment companies continue to up the ante on what we can now do with modern farm equipment. And we’re proud that they choose to come here to showcase this equipment and let Sunbelt become the place where many farmers see this technology for the first time.”
In addition to the static exhibits on displays, attendees can attend educational seminars and crop harvesting demonstrations, where technology will be on display in a working setting. These demonstrations will allow visitors to compare and analyze equipment as they are put on display in the field.
